Artistic Statement

In my country of origin, Cuba, the rooster is something we strive to equal.  Roosters are brave and flamboyant as well as a pleasure to view.  Not only is the rooster aesthetically pleasing, they also serve a purpose.

As an artist, I have the gift to create beautiful designs replete with form and function.  My art, like the rooster, often has bright lustrous color.  I do not sequester from progress and my work is constantly evolving from experimentation.

Though art is never "complete", I follow through on my projects to conclusion.  I enjoy designing a piece that is both practical and pleasing… like the rooster.

Education

I receive my BFA in Interactive Media Design at the Art Institute of Tampa on December of 2007.
